The online crime reporting system is developed to manage the crime details in the police station such as missing person, stolen vehicle and information about the vehicle accident. By using this project, we can easily add and update the crime information with the necessary information. It is very useful to search the information based on the name of the person or FIR number. The main advantage of this project is to easily retrieve the data easily and prevent from loss of data. It is also very easy to manage the bundles of information with the minimal time duration.
Before developing this application all activities done manually, then all the activities take more time and also take more manpower. All the crime details are entered manually, based on this manual problem sometimes data may be wrong. All related information are maintained in the files, sometimes important documents may also be missed. So we can overcome these problems by developing the online system. This system is very helpful to automation of maintain the entire information in the police station.
