DOTNET PROJECT



ABSTRACT
|

This project “smart lecturer” mainly focuses on developing a schedule monitoring for the lecturers which will enhance the productivity of the staff and also provides data security & ease of use. Each and every lecturer will have a separate login to feed in the data. Before starting the first class, the lecturer need to enter the details about the dept, year, subject and mainly the hours estimated to complete the subject. Once this initial work is done, the lecturer should enter day to day details about the subject handled & the hours consumed for the session with the attendance on number of students present on that day. Finally once the lecturer completes the semester syllabus, we can create a report on in how many hours the subject was completed in total and also the total number of students present or absent during the session. We will develop this application with C #,DOT NET and SQL server.This whole application will provide accurate follow up of the classes and will be a handy tool for lecturers.




ADMINISTRATOR

In this module the admin will have the authentication over the staff. The admin will maintain the details of the staff and their task. Admin will provide the task completion for each and every staff who is handling the classes. The details like subject, department and time consumed for the session. This process will be helpful for the lecturer in planning classes.


STAFF

This is the second module in which the staff has to fill the records after completing the task. Each and every day the details have to fill by the staff. Each and every lecturer has the authentication to view their data.


ANALYSIS

In analysis module admin will verify the staff session consumed for each and every subject and compare the results obtained. After comparing the results, the admin will generate the report.

ATTENDANCE REPORT

In this module, each student attendance report will be stored for every months. It could be easy way to maintain the student attendance details.

REPORT GENERATION

In the final steps, the report will be generated. This process will be very helpful for the staff and also the administrator. This tool will reduce the time and improve the performance and also reduce the time.


Existing System

In the existing system each task is carried out manually in which data can be lost. In this each lecturer details are stored in separate documents so that the system needs a separate room to store the documents. It will be very difficult to search for a particular lecturer details. It requires more man power to maintain the details. Unauthorized users can also access the details. If any lecturer enter the wrong details then the modification becomes very difficult.


Proposed System

In this proposed system we can create the software application for the lecture to maintain their details. Each and every lecturer has the authentication to view their details. Once the lecturer completes their task they should enter details about the subject, department, and time consumed for the session. We will develop this software application with the help of C#.NetThis entire process will be helpful in developing the productivity of the lecturer in future planning for classes and also to monitor the student’s participation. We can also provide class test details to check the efficiency of the students.


Conclusion
