This project implements a college event management system through online. It mainly focus on online event management in college. In previous, Everything should be manage and maintain by staff through offline. Student have to submit the paper through offline like hardcopy of paper and received paper selected by their staff and send reply to them lately and it takes lot of time. For this issue, we are developed college event management system to reduce the manual timing and easy maintenance of paper selection interaction with students. The main feature of this system is everything could able to maintain through online. The student could able to upload their papers through online and that will be maintain by the judge and giving weight age to paper and admin can select that student based on their paper weight age. This system will provide flexible and easy maintenance. This system proposed with dream weaver PHP as front end and My Sql as back end.
In this module, The Admin user will maintain the details of event details like date, time, domains to present papers, registration of judge details, login, sending message to student those who get selected by judge .
This module contains, the Judge will maintain and update the details of his/her profile, view student uploaded papers and giving weight age to that paper and send it to admin.
This module maintains the student details, they will do registration, login, view event list, date and time of event to conduct and select judge to send paper from judge name list, upload papers to judge, view selection list.
In existing system, We know that it is difficult to conduct event through offline process i.e., submission of papers , assigning papers , interacting to reviewer , collecting final paper takes more time , So there will be lot of issues in this system to select papers and main thing is time consumption is high. To avoid this conflict we proposes a system called Event /Event Management System . By using this system event /Event chair can easily interact with reviewer , easily collect paper and submissions. Disadvantages: • Take more time • Less flexibility • Difficult work
This system propose to do the program, the event organizers, the student and the judge in their respective activities. The main benefit of Event Management System is to reduce the time for receiving papers and reviewing papers . The goal of this system is to conduct event on selected paper . This includes registration of students , paper submission, judge assignments , group e-mailing , collecting ranks given by judge, collecting final accepted paper . The project can be useful to conduct Institutional event , National event and International event. Advantages: • Less Time consumption • Easy maintenance • Flexible system
The Event Management Portalis developing for Technology, and used to replace old paper work system. The port is to build upon the existing web-based project marking system in order to implement the Event management process and allocating supervisor/ideas to students. This increase in efficiency of data access, Event management, gives feedback to student, finally, publication of documents. It provides a mechanism to organize any Event online which makes the system is flexible.
