As tourism is one of the fastest growing industries today, thus within the tourism industry events are getting more and more important. People have become more interested in events of all kinds, and will travel far away to participate in events that they find interesting. Events can offer various economical and social benefits for destinations, and therefore destination managers can and should employ events effectively in a tourism role. It has become widely accepted that every community and destination needs to adopt a long-term, strategic approach to event tourism thereby planning and development in order to realise the full tourism potential of events. This study was launched as a response to the lack of studies on how Tours strategies are actually used in destinations. The study was directed to tours and travel management system and the aim was to explore Tour and Travel packages.
Travelogue websites (e.g., www.igougo.com) offer rich descriptions about landmarksand traveling experience written by users. Furthermore, community-contributed photos with metadata (e.g., tags, date taken, latitude etc.) on social media record users’ daily life and travel experience. These data are not only useful for reliable POIs (points of interest) ming , travel routesming, but give an opportunity to recommend personalized travel POIs and routes based on user’s interest.
we propose a Topical Package Model (TPM) learning method to automatically mine user travel interest from two social media, community-contributed photos and travelogues . We observe that in community-contributed photo sometimes the “date taken” of night scene is daytime. But the time descriptions of POIs of travelogues do not have time difference problem. In offline module, what’s more, we mine POIs and famous routes from communitycontributed photos, and obtain routes’ packages through mapping travelogues, which are related to these routes, to the topical package space.
Online module focuses on mining user package and recommending personalized POI sequence based on user package. First, tags of user’s photo set are mapped to topical package space to get user’s topical interest distributionIt is difficult to get user’s consumption capability directly from the textual descriptions of photos. But the topics user interested in could somehow reflect these attributes
In the existing system, all the records are not kept perfectly because all the work is done manually, so keeping up to date details of the vehicles, timings of bookings, seat availability for reservation, vehicles or rooms hotels availability is not done. Amount of the overall trips are kept in documents and the calculations done are manually which made lead to huge mistakes. Thus, the existing system is very time consuming and being manual work sometimes lead to a great loss as well.
The propose system is highly automated and makes the travelling activities much easier and flexible. The user can get the very right information at the very right time. Customers can get the knowledge of the hotels and vehicles they are going to use in their trip prior to their starting of trip. This will increase the trust of the customer into the travel company as well.Once the bookings are confirmed all the travel details, customer details as well as all the relevant details related to the trip like hotel name, room number, vehicle number, vehicle owner’s details, date of arriving, date of departure, food to be served and every single detail will be available to the client. They just need once to click using mouse and everything is made available to them.
The objective of the Travel and Tourism Management System project is to develop a system that automates the processes and activities of a travel and the purpose is to design a system using which one can perform all operations related to traveling. In the present system a customer has to approach various agencies to find details of places and to book tickets. This often requires a lot of time and effort. A customer may not get the desired information from these offices and often the customer may be misguided. It is tedious for a customer to plan a particular journey and have it executed properly. The proposed system is a web based application and maintains a centralized repository of all related information. The system allows one to easily access the relevant information and make necessary travel arrangements. Users can decide about places they want to visit and make bookings online for travel and accommodation.
